I came across Japanese bondage by chance, though a friend who lent me a book about Japanese Erotica. I was hooked to the esthetics of it: the roughness of the rope againt the softness of the skin. As with man Japanese arts, Shibari has a number of standard forms, upon which a skilled artist can build and improvise.
